You can use this work program, inspired by American writer Hal Elrod's book "The Miracle Morning," to create your own morning routine.

Eight Good Habits to Make the Most of Morning

We guarantee that positive changes will occur in your life once you adopt the following habits:

1. Develop an approach to success

Assume that you currently wake up 30 to 60 minutes ahead of time for work, as you only have time to prepare yourself for the workday.

In this case, the morning work program requires you to wake up an hour early, which might be challenging. As a result, we suggest you gradually increase the time until you reach a full hour. You can avoid watching TV or working late to get enough rest, go to bed 30 minutes earlier than usual, and wake up the following morning feeling energized.

It is crucial to outline your work schedule for the following day, including the objectives you hope to accomplish and the essential tasks you must complete before moving on to the next. It will be worthwhile for you to put in the effort to set aside an entire hour for yourself, and once you commit to bed 30 minutes early, you can extend that time to an hour.

Here are some tips to help you get up in the morning:

  • Place your phone on the other side of the room so you have to get up and turn off the alarm.
  • Drink some water.
  • Brush your teeth.

These tips may take some time, but you will see positive changes in a few weeks.

2. Practice meditation in a calm atmosphere

Meditation is a technique used to increase the focus on the present in daily life. Try breathing exercises in a quiet place by taking a deep breath and slowly exhaling several times.

It's acceptable to begin with five minutes of meditation each morning, then progressively extend it to ten or twenty minutes daily. You can also divide up your meditation sessions throughout the day.

For beginners to meditation, there are online courses and apps such as Headspace. Although it might seem unusual at first, you will eventually learn to concentrate more on the moments in your life that are right now.

Good Habits

3. Echoing encouragement words

It is said the subconscious mind governs conscious human actions, and therefore, it is advisable to write and read aloud motivational statements to encourage the subconscious mind to work.  It should be mentioned that words of encouragement alone won't get you where you want to go unless you put them into practice.

On the other hand, encouraging statements, which highlight positive statements, assist us in overcoming the inner voice that continuously questions our choices.

4. Perception of personal success

Practice the following exercise to visualize success before you achieve it: For a short while, close your eyes and visualize yourself accomplishing your daily tasks and reaching your goals. Before you begin the workday, you can mentally and psychologically prepare yourself for success with this exercise.

Your vision board can serve as a reminder to stay on track with your action plan. It can hold pictures of your goals that you take pride in when you reach them. It's best to hang the board somewhere you'll always be able to see it, especially in the morning when it will help you feel more motivated.

You must visualize success, experience its moments, and feel the feelings associated with reaching your goals of contentment, pride, or happiness. You can concentrate on the essential tasks when you approach the morning with the will to succeed.

5. Prioritize health

Nothing matters more in life than your health, whether you're starting a business or just wanting to spend more time with your family.

If you're not a gym goer, you can start working out at home by watching videos online about home sports. Just be sure to sign up for a gym later on because the equipment for training there will help you get more helpful results.

Think about spending three to four days a week at the club and the other days exercising at home or going for a jog outside. Exercise in the morning promotes a better mood and more activity.

6. Reading to increase knowledge

Personal growth is contingent upon an individual's ability to broaden their perspectives and augment their knowledge base. That is to say, you can read books or blogs about subjects that interest you rather than relying solely on the news for information every morning. The majority of people can read, but they don't practice it enough.

There is no justification for not reading nowadays. Books are available in different formats, including audio, digital, and paper.

There are several useful blogs on the Internet, including the following:

  • Addicted2success
  • Financial Samurai
  • Life Hack

You must dedicate yourself to reading for 20 minutes each morning before you begin working, and eventually, this time should reach one or two hours. Though it might seem challenging at first, practice makes perfect.

Good Habits

7. Writing down objectives

Setting the desired goal is the first step in completing the action plan since the abstract goal is essentially a simple dream.

There are two kinds of goals: specific goals like "I want to start a financial account management project about a year from now" and vague goals like "I would like to establish my own project someday."

After setting the final goal, break it down into viable daily activities you write down in your journal. The breaking down process of massive goals involves identifying the actions necessary to achieve the goal in consecutive steps.

Writing down goals allows you to work on basic tasks daily and track the stages of progress in the completion process, preferably if you start taking actual actions that lead you toward your dreams instead of prolonging useless thinking about them.

8. Live a purposeful life

Imagine waking up early in the morning with a potent resolve and willingness. Next, look at your vision board and begin to picture your life after reaching your objectives. That will fill you with enthusiasm and motivate you to carry out your morning work plan.

After an hour or so of reading, playing sports, meditating, writing down your daily tasks, and visualizing success, you feel at ease. You should also feel strong because you make productive use of your morning hours, celebrate, and spend the rest of the workday at work.

You can experience these emotions when you begin implementing these routines daily, give up on the idea that you won't be able to wake up early and accept accountability for your life.
