Note: This article is based on a blog post by Steven Aitchison, in which he tells us about the timeline.
The timeline perspective is learning to look at all areas of your life from different timelines. That is, past, present, and future.
Why Do You Use a Timeline Perspective?
Consciousness is a great aspect of human life, and I also believe that we can access consciousness from all aspects of ourselves, whether from the past, present, or future. We may have a memory that we tap into. I see consciousness as divided into different clouds; each cloud can be utilized individually if we want to use its information.
I am working on the theory that thinking can easily tap into these clouds of consciousness. For example, if we want to take advantage of psychic awareness, all we have to do is think about having psychological experiences. We have to believe that this is going to happen. We have to read about it and let it dominate us, and ultimately we will have enough psychological experiences.
I think that's how "The Law of Attraction" works, we believe that something will work, and we feel that it will eventually work, and ultimately it will work, but it requires an absolute belief that it will happen. Once the law of attraction begins to help us in our daily lives, it will work fast, which means that we benefit from the cloud of the law of attraction.
Timeline Cloud
Just as there may be clouds of consciousness of all that we can think of, some of which we still have to think about, we also have clouds that are specific to us, and with these clouds, we can access our past, our present, and our future consciousness.
I will discuss these consciousness clouds later because right now, I'm trying to figure out the theory I'm working on. I'm trying to test it out as much as possible before formulating any concrete belief, and that's the splendor of verifying all my current beliefs, it's great to discover them, reject them and formulate my theories instead of someone telling me I should believe something.
We are all under someone else's cloud of consciousness to one degree or another, for example, we have a cloud of consciousness from the government, we are expected to walk according to certain rules, and we also have a cloud of consciousness in our social groups. We are expected to act in certain ways, so why not make our cloud of consciousness?

Try It
Here's an example of checking from a timeline perspective, look at a particular area of your life, for example, your career, ask yourself these questions, be as frank as possible, get to the answers if you can, and try to write down everything that's in your mind on paper or the computer. I will use my answers as an example, I am currently working in support of the homeless, and I am not yet a full-time life coach, seminar speaker, or Internet entrepreneur.
Here's an example of my life:
- Are you happy with your current career? Yes, I am very happy with my profession now; I'm an online writer and coach.
- Think of yourself one year ago, would that person be happy with your current career? I think they'd be very happy.
- Think of yourself 5 years ago, would that person be happy with your current career? Yeah, I've always wanted to be a writer and help others.
- Think again about yourself 10 years ago, would that person be happy with your current career? Yeah, they'll be a little shocked, because it was hard to think about the possibility of doing what they love.
- Now think about yourself one year from now, will that person be happy with your current career? Yes, but they want to move on, write more books, and maybe start a business.
- Now think of yourself 5 years from now, will that person be happy with your current career? Yes, they are still happy, but they know there are more books to be written, they need a stronger business plan for their own business, and their own business should be in full swing by now.
I Think You Got the Idea
What I found most interesting in this exercise was that I thought I would be happy with this profession in all aspects of myself, that is, in the past, present and future. However, when I got to answer questions about different aspects of my life, it was amazing how my opinion was in the past about my present, and how my future ideas were about my current choices.
Getting to Your Future Self
Now you might think, "How can I get to my future self?" Think for a moment about what you're going to do tomorrow, maybe you should get up to work, think about the work you're going to do, the people you're going to talk to, etc. Thus, you have got access to your future self.
In Conclusion
You always have to get to your future self at some point, and the moment you wake up you get to your future self, but you have to think about what you're going to do before you do it, this was a great discovery for me when I discovered it, and it wasn't a discovery anyway, so you always have to think about your future before you reach your future self.
