There is nothing permanent in life. Take the different seasons of the year for example. In one season, you see the leaves decorating the trees, then you see them falling in another season.
We can see our life in the same way. Sometimes, things are good, and other times things are very bad, but it is important to develop a winner's mentality so that the winner knows that no matter how difficult life gets, they can be creative with the choices that life presents to them and remain victorious.
Suffering is inevitable
Life was good for me until the beginning of February 2020. I had an accident that paralyzed half of my face. I was a 26-year-old young woman with a strange face and there was no guarantee that my face would return to normal. After days or even weeks of crying and depression because of my condition, I realized that I had two options waiting for me, what is the step coming?
Will I continue crying, depression, and despair? Or stop grieving and look for the lesson that I should learn from this situation?
Often times, when we encounter difficulties, we would rather complain about how bad life is than get up and shake it off.
How do I win in life?
The difficult thing is that we cannot control the situation that has befallen us, but we can begin to control some details such as our reaction to difficulties. Living on earth means expecting and preparing for the unexpected, but many fail to do so.
This is why when you are going through a crisis, you may feel that there is no way out of it. Now I want to help you change your view of the difficulties you face so that you see them as opportunities.
British writer C. S. Lewis said, “Difficulties often prepare the ordinary person for an extraordinary destiny.”

3 Tips you can use to develop a winner's mindset
1. Prepare yourself mentally for the idea that nothing is permanent
In order to overcome all difficulties and move forward, you must develop a mindset in which you believe that nothing is permanent. Just as good will not last forever, evil will not last either, and some people do not like change, but it is important to realize that changes have many benefits. You will not appreciate the good if you do not go through the bad.
Be open to change and expect the unexpected. It doesn't matter what happens now because it will not continue. There is an end to every crisis.
2. Break free from the victim mentality
After the doctors diagnosed me with facial paralysis, my first reaction was to blame others. I blamed the doctors, my job, and everything around me for what I went through.
But then I realized that when we see our suffering with a victim mentality, it will delay us from receiving blessings. As a result, you will remain stuck in your position in the long run when you could have been free. However, because of your wrong mentality, you will remain shackled. So, break free from this mentality.
3. See your difficulties as opportunities for growth
you are alive, as you learn and grow smarter now. Change is of great benefit to our lives, just like a hurricane that hits a country and turns the atmosphere into a dark and gloomy atmosphere, but after a few months, new flowers bloom, and you can see brighter scenery and new buildings. So, the difficulties we face will help us become strong and empowered.
In conclusion
We will face difficulties in our lives again and again, but what we choose after that is our responsibility. So, teach yourself to see the good in everything, and decide today to prepare yourself to see difficulties as new opportunities by freeing yourself from the victim mentality, and accepting the idea that nothing is permanent.
