The United Nations has designated August 19 as World Humanitarian Day, which serves as a reminder of the importance of building a better world and cultivating a culture of humanitarianism. While some aspects of the various scriptures may differ, they share fundamental values such as peace, fairness, and building a better world. It is crucial to put these concepts and practices into action to establish a culture of humanitarianism and build a better world for everyone. The idea of constructing a better world is not limited to a single ideology, and it requires universal principles and laws that everyone can contribute to.

The Universal Principles of Humanitarianism and Building a Better World:

In his book "Shortcut for a Better Life", the writer Ziad Rayess mentions: In recognition of the United Nations choosing August 19th as World Humanitarian Day, here are some important points:

While scriptures differ on some matters according to their time and place, they share some very important concepts: building a better world, fairness and peace, a culture of humanitarianism, and other basic values and concepts. We can’t establish a culture or build a better world in a given location until its people have cultivated and put into practice these concepts and practices.

The society we live in must understand that building a better world and constructing a culture is not limited by a single ideology. It uses universal concepts, principles, and laws. Forcing a society with a diversity of backgrounds, religions, and races to follow a certain ideology is not the way to build a country and will only lead to more destruction and fragmentation.

Cultivating or clinging to a certain idea without respecting others will not serve the task that God has handed down to us, represented here in building a better world and a close-knit society that includes all of its members in a better way. Everyone can contribute to that. As such, each of us must indirectly connect these lofty aims with the divine task they ultimately serve. Then they can motivate us to do good and contribute to humanitarianism.

Conclusion:

Each of us must somehow relate these high ideals to the divine purpose they ultimately serve. However, it is essential to recognize that building a better world requires an interdisciplinary center for law that takes into account contemporary changes and considerations such as sociology, political science, and economics, among others. Because the perception of contemporary Religious law and reality have no impact on public affairs, becoming an expert in it does not suffice to put it into practice. Therefore, building a firm legal foundation for society requires a clear strategy, vision, and prospects that align with modern values and beliefs. By following these principles, we can work together to create a world that is fair, peaceful, and inclusive for all.
