Note: This article is by Rob Leonardo, who gives us 6 tips for overcoming fear and achieving goals.
In the past, I used to fall a lot as a victim of fear. I wanted to do something but lacked the confidence to do it. I wanted to have self-confidence, but I did not want to take risks; that situation lasted for a long time, so I later realized that this vicious cycle of fear made my situation constantly worse until I decided to be free of fear and to do what I should do, that is, to take a bold step every time.
I will show you how I have achieved success in my field by summoning my courage and following simple tips that I have done during my life, and everyone can do so if they want to achieve their personal goals.
6 Tips for Achieving Your Personal Goals
1. Define your goal, and inspiration will dispel your fear
What is your dream? And what do you want to be? What impact do you want to have on the world? It's not just about you; it's about doing things for others. Once you've set your goal, make it clear to yourself, write it down, and talk about it with someone, or draw some details that help you imagine the dream you want to achieve. That will help you focus and overcome fear.
2. Understand the risks you must take
Ask yourself, “What awaits you when you do this? And what will you gain? And what do you stand to lose? Are the positives greater than the negatives or otherwise? "Calculate the risks you will face by understanding the pros and cons, writing them down, and comparing them.
Think about it and decide without hesitation using your experiences and the advice of people you trust. Nothing is totally guaranteed. There are always aspects you do not have complete information about, so decide and start working and do not look back.

3. Find a role model
Whether you realize it or not, you must be familiar with people who are excellent role models for success. Think about the person who inspires you to do the work you dream of. Who do you follow when it comes to having interpersonal skills? Who do you see as an example, such as a father, leader, or manager?
Look hard for people whose success you can emulate, whether they are famous people, your parents, your other family members, co-workers, or even characters from television. They know the path to success and only need to follow them and learn from their mistakes.
4. Achieve success gradually by following simple procedures and persevering with them
Are you confused by the plethora of tasks you handle? And how do you behave in this situation? And do you know the steps that need to be done to accomplish a big task?
You need to find the small parts that make up the big tasks, examine the details, and determine how to carry them out. Then, you must proceed cautiously, slowly, and persistently. Strong will is not something you acquire instantly; it is something you acquire gradually through discipline and altruism.
5. Be present in the right place at the right time and maintain your self-confidence
In your opinion, who does the manager think about in the company when they want to give a promotion? And when the client wants to buy a product, which salesperson do they communicate with? Who is the employee the board of directors will assign to it when there is a massive task with significant privileges? In each of these situations, the opportunity is given to the person who other people believe deserves it rather than the person who truly deserves it. Although these two things are different, you can do both.
Make others notice you by expressing your opinion and making interventions in work meetings, taking team-related initiatives, and integrating with others so that you become known to decision-makers. Your ability to be present in the work environment has a primary role in improving your career. Others must notice you so that you can get support from the influential close environment and decision-makers who decide who should receive rewards. In short, the skill of attendance means the ability to show confidence.
6. Balance work and time with loved ones
You will benefit nothing from a successful career if you do not have time to spend with your loved ones, you will benefit nothing from achieving your goals if you do not enjoy inner peace, and you will benefit nothing from wealth if you are unhappy.
Balance your priorities between work and family, and work hard, but allocate valuable time to spend with your loved ones. There must be time for work, time for family, time for relationships, time for friends, and learning when to stop working and when to stop relaxing and start working. It takes self-confidence and ingenuity to meet work and personal life obligations.
In conclusion
Everyone is born with the same advantages, but you need the will at every step, so you must have a lot of courage to achieve your dream despite the difficulties. It takes courage to defend your choices, be a great person with everyone, and most importantly, strike a good balance between work time and the time of the people you care about in your life.
I was one of those people whose fear prevented them from doing anything, but I decided to get up and trust myself, and what I learned is that keeping your courage makes you more daring; That is, you get bolder every time you try to achieve what you aspire to, so my advice to everyone who asks how to overcome fear, gain confidence in any activity and for any goal is to take reasonable bold steps, and they will achieve their ambition.
