1. Passing a yellow signal light:

The act of “beating the herd” is one of our pleasures. When you pass the yellow light, and you look in your rear mirror to see all the cars stopping at the red light, you say to yourself: “I did it, I will now reach my destination a minute earlier”. For some reason, it makes you so happy, and life seems wonderful to you at that moment.

2. Lunch time:

It happens every day, seven days a week, at the same time, with the same people, and you know that the time will come. Yet, you celebrate when that time comes and you get so excited.

3. The last day of the work week:

You may think you're consciously celebrating this, but it's slowly sneaking into your subconscious mind. On Thursday at lunchtime, your productivity gradually slows down over a few hours. But when it's time to get off work, you suddenly regain your energy and you are ready to chat with your colleagues you've purposely avoided all week. That's because you're about to enjoy the weekend.

4. The first sip of your favorite drink:

Of any drink, when the events which lead up to the need for this moment are so crucial, the first sip is pure bliss for you.

5. Music:

There is no better feeling than hearing the right song at the right time. This is one of those easy pleasures in life that instantly lifts your spirits. When you hear the right song for your moment, the whole meaning of life makes perfect sense.

6. After a workout:

Regardless of your level of fitness, or the goals you pursue to achieve fitness, I have no doubt that you unconsciously celebrate when you complete a vigorous workout. You feel happy with self-realization. This activity is the only real activity that enhances your sense of satisfaction and improves your appearance at the same time. So, when you finish exercising, you feel very happy.

7. Accomplishing tasks:

Completing tasks, no matter their size, is an endeavor that gets you closer to some basic goal. Also, that endeavor comes with a huge reward, which is satisfaction.

8. Falling asleep deeply:

Admit it or not, sleeping is a source of happiness for us. People usually feel guilty when they fall asleep because they think they have to do some necessary work. But sometimes a little relaxation is okay. There is nothing more beautiful than waking up on your own.

9. Friendship:

Friendship is something we continually celebrate, but somehow fail to appreciate. We are always distracted from mingling with people. But we always celebrate friendship consciously when we realize its importance, and in our subconscious mind when we do not realize its importance.

10. Tell a story:

One of the most important sources of happiness is new experiences. Also, one of the most tempting roles we all play in life is that of a narrator.

What is the benefit of new experiences if we don't share them with others? We are aware of our new experiences, but that is only half of the excitement. The other half is taken over by our subconscious mind that prompts us to tell everyone around us about our experiences.
