The truth is that for me it is all about point of view, and by that I mean both literal and metaphorical. Because my passion is to travel, communicate with others, and search for beauty in the world, I do everything I can to achieve all of that in my life.
For example, while pursuing my passions and interests, I have the opportunity to travel for business and pleasure. When I get a chance to spend a weekend away somewhere warm, I'll find beauty almost anywhere, especially when I can work from a great beach.
Others sometimes challenge me: if I can pursue my passion and achieve success in what I am pursuing, is what I am doing possible? Is it sustainable in the long term? My answer is "Yes."
This digital age allows me to immerse myself in different countries and locations while I am not leading the marketing team. On any given day, I can communicate with people from all over the world and plan my next vacations, but even when I work, I find it fun to coordinate and work with my team to present the most aesthetically pleasing images of marketing content.
How to follow your passion to achieve success
You can also achieve the same thing by focusing on the following:
1. Perspective changes everything
When I was old enough to start working, I immediately got a job in the beauty industry. I had a passion for it, and I thought fashion was the natural field to pursue my interests, and I had a great time. But today I work in a field that focuses on the public interest, and a number of people I know have asked me how I found my passion for marketing outside of beauty or travel.
The answer for me was that every day I have the opportunity to lead a team that contributes to the creation of attractive content, and the digital world allows me to enjoy photography and work on social media. The more my career develops, the more opportunities I have to travel, both professionally and personally. In other words, my view of the world and reality contribute greatly to my passion and success.
2. Passion is flexible, not fixed
Like me, you may have read articles with headlines stating that the time when you could pursue your passion is over. Some of these titles are just fake and attention-grabbing, but others carry more depth, and when you read the articles, you realize that the old way of thinking about pursuing your passion is outdated. In other words, one of the most important things to address is that what sparks your passion is not fixed; rather, it changes and develops over time. People who understand this and follow where their interests take them have a higher probability of success.
My passion for connecting with people has made me love what I do on social media. For example, I have just started using two platforms in my marketing group to manage social media. One is Later.com for scheduling posts on Instagram, and the other is a platform for creating social ads. Again, I had the opportunity to organize and schedule beautiful social posts. I delved into the world of marketing and found beauty in the photos I shared. I realized that my passions and interests are not fixed; rather, they can evolve and change and include many areas to achieve.
3. Curiosity equals passion and success
My curiosity about others combined with my interests in other cultures and aesthetics keeps me going. Curiosity for me is the fuel that keeps all aspects of my feelings alive, and again, passion is not a constant thing anymore; Instead, it has become flexible.
Karate champion Bruce Lee said many years ago that people should be like water, and by that he meant that when you pour water into a cup, it takes the shape of that cup, and when you pour it into a jug, it takes the shape of a jug.
In other words, it is as if water has the human quality of curiosity, and because of it, it is malleable and transformative. Curiosity makes you smarter, helps you grow, and fuels your passion. In other words, it allows you to dig deeper into things and continue to master what interests you in creative ways.
In conclusion
Passion and success start with your ideas and how you express that passion. So try to form a good point, remember that your passions are fickle, and always nurture your curiosity.
