A wise man once said, “Life is like a circle", and while I don’t know who that man was or even if this quote is real, I see it as logical. Life is cyclical like everything in this natural world. It always comes back to the center.

Life always moves towards a certain center:

The farther away we are from our natural center, the more we try to go back. When people talk about “the natural order of the world” or “periodicity,” this is what they will say: There is a natural balance for everything, and regardless of whether you are a human being or any other being, that balance is your natural tendency to go back to center, but what is your position? And most importantly, where does it lie?

Determining your position is the first step to determining your success:

It can be easy to know where your center is. If you look back in your life, you will see that it is not a straight line so much as a ring that revolves around a central point, and the same is the case with success. Although your life is constantly moving upwards, it revolves around a specific center.

Rather than taking a linear path, success for those who have a deep understanding of their position takes a spiral path. It is that upward movement around our balanced center, which leads to a successful life that gives deep meaning to the person who lives it, rather than the person who appears “successful” according to society's standards, but they have moved so far from their equilibrium position that their success does not provide them with any great goal.

If you have moved away from or cannot recognize your center of equilibrium, your life will spiral out of your control with no harmony or purpose, whereas if you are constantly moving upward around your center, you will be rewarded with a life full of purpose and passion.

Determine your position by looking back:

When determining your center of equilibrium, it is like looking back into your life for key clues to something your life revolves around.

As for me, I have always loved to write. I majored in journalism, but soon realized that writing was more of a passion for me than a career choice, and in the end, I didn't want to live my life like some sports news writers. So, when people around me pressured me to get a “more practical major,” I switched to finance studies and also got a degree in economics.

I ended up working in an office, and in fact, I am now sitting at my desk while writing this article, but no matter what job I took or the city I decided to live in, I always thought to write, and aside from writing, it was generating ideas and connections. What I discovered while promoting my blog's content is what drove me forward.

This is the center of equilibrium that has pushed my life to the top. If I had all the money in the world, I would keep getting up early and going to a coffee shop and writing, and no matter where I was or where I was going, I always came back to writing and what it represented to me.

Determine your center of balance by looking at what your life is all about:

Do you have a specific passion that you pursue throughout your life? And if not, do your evolving emotions have something in common? This matter or intrinsic value is the center of your life and the root cause of your success, but moving away from this center is the root cause of your failures.

Determining your center is the first step to achieving balance and taking true ownership of your life, but every balance has weight, and I would be remiss if I stopped without mentioning it. Sometimes the real key to achieving the center is for the balance to tilt in one direction, and for the weight to tilt with it in the opposite direction.

Using the aforementioned example, if writing is my true focus, then perhaps instead of pursuing a full-time business, I can create a business that gives me time to write the content I love to write about. This is the weight of a central balance represented in writing.

Using a different example. If your passion is rock climbing, do not build a company that sells rock climbing equipment. Instead, start a business that will allow you the freedom to climb rocks whenever you want. The important thing is to determine your position; So, no matter what strategy you use to stay balanced, you know that you are permanently spinning upwards around your balanced position.

In conclusion:

Do you know the saying “The journey is the destination”? Firstly, this is 100% true. Secondly, finding your center and then finding ways to boost and increase your balance is the real journey. Staying balanced throughout your life is the real destination.

Also, when you are able to find your own balance and stay at the center of that balance, and then increase the size and balance of your center through experiences, you turn your passion into a true purpose, and only then will you act and fulfill the drive of confidence that permeates every part of your life.
