Who is Brian Tracy?
Brian was born in Vancouver, Canada in 1944 into a family with ongoing financial worries and unpaid bills. His father was unable to do a serious job, so he and his three brothers used to live in charitable clothing and have few luxuries. His parents' motto was, "We don't have money for these things, we can't afford them," and so they struggled over the years. From a young age, he always had a curiosity as to why other families enjoyed a higher quality of life, while his own was in a quagmire of financial worries.
He left school early and started a young life of hard, physically demanding work, and the quest for success began after a displacement of years. This displacement led him to the philosophy of "no excuses", which states that we are the ones who chart the path of our lives; therefore, we can change our lives for the better, regardless of the circumstances and challenges.
Brian’s Greatest Achievements:
When he finally woke up and realized that he was the only one who could make himself a success or a failure, he started a sales job. However, he did not have enough skills, so he only earned from them what he could continue to live on. After asking other successful salespeople, reading a lot, and striving sincerely, he began setting and achieving his goals, one of which was to become the most successful salesperson. He learned everything he could and tried many ways of dealing with sales until he became the "Prime Sales Manager". After mastering this profession, he moved on to bigger and better jobs, such as real estate development, business theory, and marketing. He studied those industries and became an expert in many fields. Eventually, he reached the position of Chief Operating Officer at a $265 million development company. His lofty goals have led him to undertake multi-billion dollar high-profile consulting assignments, as well as to companies responsible for strategic planning and organizational development.
Over the past 30 years, he's combined what he's learned and worked to create tangible, trustworthy systems that lead many other people to their successes. He has a passion for imparting this information to anyone who wants to learn and develop. Through his trials and mistakes and his good hard work, he became an ambassador of success and passed on this information. He established his university in San Diego, California, which he called The Brian Tracy International.
Brian has been committed to lifelong learning since his early twenties and remains an avid reader on many broad topics, from raising children to world history, economics and physics. By 1981, he decided to pass on his wisdom and experience to the world by compiling everything he learned into a comprehensive, high-quality self-help system for success and growth.
One of Brian Tracy’s principles is: “Take responsibility for your emotions; They can be controlled.” Also: “You must be very clear about the goals you set for yourself; Do not let your emotions cloud your judgment, and do not allow your negative thinking to influence your actions.”
He says that "negative emotions lead to poor judgment and poor decision-making." We must remain positive, develop a clear self-awareness, and be responsible for the decision to interpret our world in a positive light.
His dynamic approach to learning has affected more than 5 million people in the USA, Canada, and 55 other countries around the world. He studied broad topics from economics, personal development, history, and business philosophy, and he became an expert in many fields. Thanks to his voracious learning, he has been invited as a keynote speaker to audiences of 250,000 people annually. He has also been a business consultant and business executive consultant for more than 1,000 companies around the world. Brian has been involved in teaching topics, such as sales and marketing, self-esteem, goal setting, and how to make psychological changes that bring immediate and long-term success. At his company "Brian Tracy International" of which he is CEO, he trains and develops individuals and companies continuously with a focus on self-awareness and achieving business goals quickly and efficiently.
The results of his training helped large numbers of people reach their goals in record time. As the author of more than 45 books that have been translated into dozens of languages, he is highly respected.
