The Balance of Profit and Loss in Dealing with Others

From the first moment a person is born and enters the door of worldly life, they are surrounded by others. With the passage of years of life, we realize the importance of communication skills that each of us must master because of their fundamental role in the success of life in general.

There is only a successful family life with successful communication. The same applies to social relations and work relations. As its success is based primarily on correct relationships and effective communication, an important question arises: What is the basis for relationships and dealings? Benevolence or justice?

Benevolence or justice?

Writer Ziad Rayes mentions in his book My Experience for a Better Life that I learned a few years ago that a person must be charitable. Instead, one must take the side of benevolence and forgiveness because it is not wise, not even in the balance of profit and loss, to treat people as they treat you or initiate you at times with harm or abuse. This is because many of them are ignorant of the truth, and due to their lack of knowledge of it, their behavior is only negative.

At the same time, when I say: "Justice is not enough," I am apprehensive that this word carries a legal violation. However, a friend with legal knowledge recently drew my attention to the fact that there are several verses in the Holy Book urging us to move forward in this context. Instead, there are explanations in some situations in which we must take benevolence until we turn away from harming others.

From here, I would like to draw the attention of those working in public affairs, especially those who hope for the pleasure of the Lord with their work, that doing good in dealing with others is a duty for them, not an option for them, and that doing good to people is a reason to win people’s hearts and win great rewards with the Lord.

This behavior may be an essential part of the qualities that these people possess and not others to be truly influential in their work environment. Also, the behavior of the way of benevolence towards others is a requirement for all people, and this is not limited to those of the same sect or religion, but rather it is required for all people.

Also, the behavior of justice is valid only when the person is the third party based on separation and judgment between two parties, and not the required behavior if the person is one of the parties. Justice is a legitimate requirement for every judge. Still, for you, it is a legitimate demand that you follow with kindness to all of the Lord’s servants with what you need, like spending voluntarily, forgiving those who wronged you, and so on.

Dealing with Others

Be positive and tolerant

It is important not to raise your positive expectations of others. Be the positive initiator to be part of the good and bad society system. Tolerance towards others may have the pain of a needle prick for medicine that gives you comfort and reassurance and be a new motivation for continuity and giving.

I have seen that for society to rise, it must have the initiators. It is impossible to continue without self-reconciliation, the ability to make a balanced decision, and the initiative of others to be safe.

Life always carries with it stations of joy and happiness, as well as many painful bumps, social, health, financial, professional, etc. However, what was painful today will be in the past tomorrow. So, you have to submit your command to the Lord in all matters, and you have to take the decision from within you to be happy, and search for ways of satisfaction, the most important of which is to contribute to the happiness of others. It works to develop the positive aspects among people, and good is always present, but it needs someone to motivate it and work to show it and activate it.

We would like always to remember the grain of sugar in the following quote. One of them says: "I put sugar in the tea and forgot to stir it and I took a sip, so it tasted bitter, but the bitterness of the tea doesn't mean that there is no sugar in it. Once I stir the tea, its sweetness will appear, as the sugar is present, but it only needs someone to stir it. And goodness and love also exist in the hearts of most people, but it needs someone to move it.”

Stir goodness and love in your soul and the souls of those around you, and you will feel the sweet taste of your life and discover goodness around you.

What a noble piece of sugar that it gives the tea what is needed, then disappears!

This is how the people of giving and favor are like a piece of sugar, as even if it disappeared, it left a beautiful effect.

Here I would like to mention some examples

I have noticed in many details of life how many minor and side disagreements occur between brothers, sisters, or friends, and even between spouses. Each of them takes a stand on a matter for days or even months, despite love and longing, but arrogance prevents the initiative to forget, forgive, return to the field of friendship and happiness, and the matter finally becomes history, but during that time, each one has lost an important part of the days living in pain and sadness.

Returning to all of the above, we find that justice is essential in life, but one can achieve justice by resorting to the limitation in it through benevolence and positivity in dealing, and having the ability to tolerate others. Success in following these methods is sufficient to make life easier and more successful at various levels.
