How To Become More Mindful Throughout Your Day?
Today, we live in a world where our essential needs have exceeded what was necessary to lead a happy and productive life just a few years ago, such as the Internet, smartphones, and social media.

Additionally, to live an inspiring and healthy lifestyle as expected of anyone in the modern age, we need to act and have more knowledge than before. We should also know whether our knowledge is taken from reliable resources or not. Although they are important, these wonderful goals may come at the expense of our time and mental health.
All these complexities and additions to our daily life have affected whatever free time we had when life was simpler. In fact, there are movements around essentialism, mindfulness, and simplicity in living that receive a great deal of support because people have difficulty balancing time, purpose, and priority in their lives.
I am not a person with a surplus of time. Also, neither have I been like this way before, nor do I ever expect to be, and I can't remember the last time I was bored or had nothing to do. Moreover, I personally find it difficult to practice meditation because I don’t have the luxury of spare time.
Therefore, how can we find the time to be more mindful and aware in our lives? Perhaps, the following mindfulness exercise can help you find some meaning in the simple daily activities that you are already committed to.

Almost every working adult follows a similar pattern of morning routines, where we wake up, wash our faces, brush our teeth, and get ready to start our day. These activities are so woven into the fabric of our day that they become automatic. However, in order to be more mindful, one must give meaning to some of these seemingly meaningless tasks:
- When you brush your teeth, think about the shining smile you will have throughout your day, and how you want to present yourself to everyone you interact with. Once you put this thought into your mind while doing a previously automatic activity, it will help you start your day with a bright mind.
- Think of all the wonderful things that you will see more clearly when you put on your lenses or glasses, think of the trees, the blue sky, the flowers, and all the amazing things that we don't care about in the midst of our day. Therefore, you will be more grateful.
- Think of each day you wear your watch how precious time is, and how lucky you are to have another day on this planet. This will likely make the rest of your day more meaningful and productive.
- While washing your face, think about washing your past mistakes, and start your day anew. Additionally, when you put on your clothes, think about monitoring your interaction with others which will determine how the world will perceive you today. Moreover, when you pick up your phone, take a moment before you check your notifications, think about all the information you have access to, and cherish how easy it is to learn something new.
- Choose a piece of jewelry, clothing, or an accessory that reminds you of your values or serves as a reminder of the people you love the most. Everyone can find something personal that might add meaning to their
What distinguishes this mindfulness exercise is that it works instantly. All it takes to succeed in doing so is wanting to be more present during your morning routine. As a result, you will be able to deal with the little things that may disturb you during your day much more calmly.
When your mind is clear, the child who asks you a question for the 20th time in a day still thinks you know everything and takes your opinion instead of searching the internet. You'll also appreciate your dad asking you to teach him how to operate a certain device, and your boss sending you an email in the evening for whatever reason could indicate that you're still appreciated.
You can be grateful for anything in life, but first, you have to have an appropriate mindset.
