The Importance of Self-Love for Success
People rarely understand the relationship between self-love and success. When most of us learned how to achieve life goals, we were not taught that self-love was an important component.
Note: This article is based on the thinking and resilience expert Chazz Scott, in which he tells us about the importance of self-love for success.
I used to think that success was about staying up late and working hard, and this is the wrong way to think about sustainable success. This method has made me tense, depressed, exhausted, and less willing to seek help from others. I thought I should do it myself.
Most importantly, it cost me my health and my relationships with my family and friends. This was not the success I craved. I did not realize the power behind developing self-love to achieve it. Because I lacked self-love, I pursued my goals for fear of losing them. My self-esteem over achievement, and I became hard on myself.
Self-love can relate to your inner voice. Your inner voice either encourages you or discourages you in every aspect of your life. It can be your biggest cheerleader or your worst enemy, but not many people take the time to listen to their inner voices that govern their behavior and how they treat themselves and others, and most of the time, the inner voice of most people is not pleasant. If you do not develop your inner voice so that it ultimately contributes to your self-love, you will never reach self-love.
How can you enjoy your success, happiness, and relationships if you feel like you don't deserve them?
Most people seek material success, but they forget about self-realization, and this kind of success is not permanent and exhausting. If your inner voice is like my inner voice, you will lose your sense of it, as if you have to live with it. I got so used to my inner voice, which was always criticizing me, that I no longer felt or cared for it, yet, unbeknownst to me, it was affecting my future success, my behavior, and the way I treated myself and others.
Our inner voice is the controller that resides in the depths of our minds. It is commonly referred to as self-esteem, and as most of us know, self-esteem leads; that is, self-confidence and self-respect play a major role in the success, happiness and achievements of the individual. Without self-confidence, we will not achieve any growth.

How does self-love affect your future success in life?
Let your self-love be a direct reflection of how you treat others around you, for that is exactly what it is: your self-love reflects the way you treat those close to you in the workplace, in relationships, and in friendships. If you marginalize yourself, you marginalize the people around you. If you think you can't do something or accomplish a task, you won't trust others to do it either.
If you do not have patience or punish yourself when you feel you have done something wrong, this behavior will be reflected in how you treat your co-workers or anyone else important to you. You will be less forgiving when they make a mistake. You will punish those close to you just as you punish yourself. This is because the way we treat ourselves internally is an accurate reflection of how we treat others.
Most people think that they do not need others to achieve success, so if you think that this is true, just ask any successful person how he became successful, and I am sure that he will tell you that his success will be useless if he does not get help from those around him. True sustainable businesses and success are built from the self-love and compassion you cultivate within yourself first, just as everything is built and destroyed by how you feel about yourself internally.
So when you want to accelerate your success in life, exercising, eating healthy, and reading self-blogs are great, but don't forget to develop more compassion, self-love, and patience with yourself. If you don't, it can feel like you're one step ahead in financial success and two backwards in your inner success.
In conclusion
Internal success, self-love, contentment, and a calm balance are what your soul really needs, and this is the only way you will enjoy your success and make your life worth living. Forgive yourself for your mistakes, be patient with your flaws, give yourself the self-respect you deserve, and visualize yourself as already being successful internally. Once you practice this every day, you will find the secret to sustainable success.
