Implementation is the Most Important Aspect of Decision-making

What are the stages of dream development?

Here are the stages of dream development:

  1. A dream is planted in the dreamer's brain.
  2. The dreamer becomes happy and enthusiastic with the dream.
  3. The dreamer is afraid of the dream.
  4. One of two things happens:
  • The dreamer fears and fails to achieve their dream, fear becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, and the dream is unrealistic
  • The dreamer accepts fear, works to achieve their dream, then terror becomes meaningless and the dream becomes reality.

The idea is that any dream worth pursuing will be exciting, scary, and suspicious, so what if it fails? What if it works? And what if the end result isn't what you thought it would be? And what if it's exactly what I imagined? The funny thing is that answering each of these four questions can be exciting or scary.

Here are 3 steps you can follow to turn dreams into reality:

1. Reality control:

Every time you seek to change your life, work to achieve a dream, and control your reality, you will have a deep fear of the unknown, but what you do not have to do is prevent this fear from controlling you because you will be afraid no matter how confident you are in your dreams, so you must use this fear as an incentive instead of discouraging you.

It has already been said that you ignore what you do not know, but as much as this may seem without result, it is completely true. It does not matter the size of your dream or the supremacy of your goal, you will never know the results until you take the first step towards the unknown and take actual action on your goal.

2. Acceptance of fear of the unknown:

Failure to fulfill your dream often results from fear of the unknown. You sit in a comfortable office where you do your job, or do the daily routine you are used to, and accepting this unknown seems like an impossible thing. If you read this, you know deep down that there is more to look for. Other things are more meaningful than just continuing in a comfortable job or following an easy routine.

When you sit and think about the possible scenarios for your decision to achieve your dream, you will think about all the means, both possible and not possible. Also, because avoiding pain is a characteristic of human nature, your thoughts will naturally lean toward all the bad scenarios.

However, will things really get worse? And can you confidently say that pursuing your dreams would be a stupid task? You can't, no trust comes from marginalizing your dreams, and the only way you'll know if your dreams are worth achieving is to actively pursue them, try and experience, and make mistakes.

3. Determine the level of fear:

It can be helpful to quantify your fears. For example, if you dream of being an entrepreneur, what is the worst that can happen if you leave your job in pursuit of this goal? Maybe your income will temporarily drop, you have a small gap in your resume, and it's possible to say you're a loser.

But what's the best thing that could happen?

When you look at your dreams that way, the risk of taking this step is not that serious, so what if you fail? At least you tried and expanded your knowledge of yourself and the world around you, providing you with experiences for a better future.

Fear may be real and the pursuit of your dreams may be a wrong decision, but it may not be either. So, stop thinking about things that can go wrong, and think instead of those that can go well. When you start thinking this way, the pursuit of your dreams is not only a smart choice, but also it is a necessity.
